Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Finterview ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, desktop app, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — such as name, email, and profile details from Google sign-in or other auth providers you choose.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor (e.g. Stripe). We receive subscription status, customer IDs, and limited billing metadata; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and device data — app version, feature usage counts, error logs, and similar technical data needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Content you submit for AI features — such as prompts, screenshots, audio snippets, or job-description text you choose to process. This is used to provide the feature you requested and may be sent to third-party AI providers as needed to generate a response.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and manage trials and subscriptions
- Process payments and prevent fraud or abuse
- Respond to support requests and send service-related notices
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service
4. Sharing
We may share information with service providers who help us operate (hosting, authentication, payments, AI inference, analytics, email), under obligations to protect it. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may be retained where required (e.g. billing records).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the country where we or our providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection laws.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
